Kal Tire has the equipment and the high level of
competency in our people to handle the smallest OTR tires (loaders/graders
etc) to the largest (like the tires we supply to the open pit mines).
We have a complete line up (Michelin, Yokohama Bridgestone, Nokian,
Firestone). This means we can be very specific about what tread
design is best suited for your application and budget.
We also have the ability to hour track your tires. This means you
can see for yourself what tire is providing the absolutely lowest
operating cost per hour. In the long run, those operators which measure
their costs by cost-per-hour rather than simply cost of initial purchase,
will realize much greater savings throughout the fleet. The graph below shows how we measure
cost per hour.
Many of our locations are equipped with a Full Hiab service crane truck capable of handling
up to 2700/49. Our OTR service people are also very aware of how
important inflation pressure is in the front and rear tires, as
each piece of equipment has a specified tipping weight.
