Mold Cure Retread Process

The objective is to create a new tread on an experienced radial tire and make it like new. This is accomplished with precision measurements and craftsmanship throughout the process, resulting in a tire that does not distort the tire sculpture tread system and its structural integrity.

What makes our retread facilities better than those of the competition? People, service and technical expertise. Kal Tire invests heavily in the training of our people. All team members are required to complete formal training and certification programs to ensure they are the best in the industry at doing the right job. And it shows, in high customer satisfaction and low turnover rates. Over one third of Kal Tire's team have been with the company for over 15 years. In our retread facilities each person must complete a three year journeyman process and work within a mentor system. Each of our professionals has the authority to inspect for quality at any time and remove a tire from the process if they feel it is not up to Kal Tire's high standards.
